Bircher Muesli

We can’t think of a better way to start your busy day than with this Bircher Muesli. Not only is it packed with oats for energy and nuts for a hit of healthy fats, but you can prep it in advance in a takeaway container to munch on as you fly out the door!

Ingredients

Method


1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup filtered water
3/4 cup mixed nuts and seeds of choice, crushed in a blender
1 tbsp goji berries
1 tbsp shredded coconut (optional)
1 medium-sized pear, peeled and grated
1/2 cup natural yogurt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey
1/2 cup frozen berries
1. Place oats, almond milk, water, nuts and seeds, goji berries, shredded coconut and pear in a bowl and mix to combine with a wooden spoon.
2. Cover and refrigerate for 7 hours or overnight.
3. Add yogurt, cinnamon and maple syrup and mix to combine.
4. Transfer to 4 small bowls and top with frozen berries.

Tip:
Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
