Baked beans are packed full of iron, protein and fiber, which are essential for growth…but they are often loaded with sugar. So we have given this kiddie (and adult) favourite staple a healthy overhaul. They are sugar-free and full of flavor. Plus they contain ‘real’ tomatoes, which are full of lycopene, a powerful antioxidant, which is released once tomatoes are cooked. Serve as a side dish with eggs and toast, place them in a baked sweet potato topped with a dollop of natural yoghurt or enjoy them on their own.
